I grew up in Fountain Valley playing just about every sport I could—basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball, tae-kwon-do, and more. From a young age, I knew I loved being active, running, and competing. By 5th grade, I decided to focus on soccer full-time. I went on to play four years at Fountain Valley High School and earned a scholarship to play at Hope International University.

After my first year of college, I realized my true passion was education, and I set my sights on becoming a Physical Education teacher. I transferred to California State University, Long Beach, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education — Teacher Education, followed by my teaching credential. Right after graduation, I began teaching in the Fountain Valley School District—the same community I grew up in.

Teaching here has been an incredible experience, and I feel grateful to give back to the students in my hometown. Now, I’m excited to take the next step in my journey with The PE Club—a new way to share my passion for physical activity and continue giving back to this amazing community.
